Directory listing requirments:
Your web site must meet or exceed the following criteria:
* You must be a Portrait Painter to be listed. ( individual artists only )
* Must have Artist Bio page with photo of artist and basic information.
* You must list prices you charge for portraits.
* Contact and ordering information.
* Shipping information.
** Here at PortraitPainters.net, we believe that anyone who paints portriats should be able to be listed as long as you meet the web site requirements above. There are no restrictions based on your level of drawing/painting ability. We believe that customers get what they pay for, and that they can see from your body of work what level of artist you are. We believe customers who choose portrait artists will view and compare artists and their work, and make the best choice based on what they see on your web site.
Submitting Photos of work:
The fastest way to submit photos is for you to scan them and save them as .jpg files, and then email them to me: "portraitpainters@aol.com".
You can also send photos by snailmail with your check or money order. Please DO NOT send slides, they don't scan very well. If you want the photos back, please send a self addressed stamped envelope with them and I will scan them and then mail them back to you.
Submitting Bio:
The best way is to email the information the way you want it written.
In addition to your Bio please include a section on pricing, your location, how you should be contacted by clients and links to your own web site (if you have one).
Also please provide a copy of your signature the way you would like it to be seen on your pages, this can be digital or a hand written signature on an 8.5x11 piece of paper.
Notice:
In the interest of making PortraitPainters.net a better website directory for all involved, PortraitPainters.net reserves the right to invite whom ever they choose and list them for free. PortraitPainters.net also reserves the right to remove sites and artists listed for free at any time they so choose. PortraitPainters.net also reserves the right to rufuse any listing that doesn't meet the criteria. Paid listings are under contract by annual basis, PortraitPainters.net reserves the right to choose to renew or not to renew contracts at the end of their terms.
